Race Relations
America has come along way in the terms of racism. Todays problems are miniscule compared to our history's but these problems should still not be tolerated. Racism is unacceptable but there is a thin line between whats racist and whats not and its a contraversial issue if someone crossed it or not. The biggest problem with racism is stereotypes. People will not be treated the same way just because of the color of there skin because there "trouble makers" or "hoolagans" and they will be told they like fried chicken and kool aid. There are still racists klans or gangs that are very serious and scary then this. I find alot there is alot of messed up things in the world and racism being one of them but it is not a priority anymore. I'm not saying its not wrong but we got rid of the majority of it a while ago and its slowly fading away. I do not see alot of serious racism, I do see it on a smaller lever though, with name calling and gossip which is still very wrong. An example of this would be if someone is using slang and acting ghetto people will call that acting or thinking your "black". Kids do not find this offensive but I would not be suprised if an older african american would get offended hearing this, it is something that should not be said. To wrap it up racism is a decreasing problem in our nation but it still needs to be recognized. Everyone is equal and there should be no need to judge a person just because of the color of there skin
